This month’s local business spotlight features Sandra B, who sells Agnes and Dora (which, if you don’t know what that is, is the softest and prettiest dresses, tunics, sweaters, and leggings). We met up for some pictures and lemonade and had a wonderful time getting to know each other!

I just had to know, so I asked. “When did you start working with Agnes and Dora? And what brought you to the company?”

Sandra: “I launched my shopping website on April 8^th of this year. The first thing I heard about Agnes & Dora was “dresses with pockets”, SOLD! I mean need I say more? Lol! No but seriously, prior to starting Agnes & Dora by Sandra B, I had never worked for a direct sales company so I did a lot of research before I decided to invest my time and money. I had been an Agnes & Dora customer for a while and truly love the clothes. The quality of our pieces is superb and our styles are so timeless and beautiful. Every Agnes & Dora piece makes me look put together while feeling pretty and incredibly comfortable. Our founder and owner is a wonderful lady with the biggest heart and a solid vision for long-term success. Having your own boutique doesn’t suck either and oh, have I mentioned pockets?”

Keilah: “Tell us what inspires you in your business, and your love of clothing!”

Sandra: “Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a closet that just wasn’t big enough. I just can’t help it, I love cute clothes. I love putting outfits together, playing with different prints, patterns, fabrics. It’s just so much fun! Being a new small business owner, I have a new found respect for all the brave small business owners out there. It’s not always easy and I’m inspired by all the people who put themselves and their vision out there everyday because they believe in something. I want to make all the ladies out there feel as awesome and beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside. It brings me so much joy when a customer tells me that they feel beautiful again for the first time in years or ever. The freedom that comes with feeling comfortable in your own skin is priceless. Also, pockets!”

Keilah: “What is your favorite place in Kitsap county!?”

Sandra: “My house, because that’s where my husband and furkids are. The second favorite place is Scenic Beach Park in Seabeck, the views out there are simply breathtaking. But really, I’ve loved everything about Kitsap County since the Navy brought us here 10 years ago, so much beauty in this place!”

Keilah: “What is your favorite A+D product right now?”

Sandra: “Oh man, that’s a tough one. I’ll have to go with the Oakley Dress. It’s so super cute and flattering. I think I’ve worn mine to every summer party, luckily the crowd was always different, so nobody noticed. It has ¾ sleeves and a nice length so it’ll be awesome to wear in fall and winter too with a cute scarf, tight, and boots. And yes, it has pockets!”
